Hello all ?

I am applying for Oakland Community College Nursing program in a few weeks and have loads of questions. Are you applying too? What's the GPA cut off? If you've graduated from or attended the program, how was/is it? Which is better, fall or winter start?

I am excited to apply and excited to meet other applying as well! We've got this!

Does anyone has an idea of what day we'll get them? I checked my mailbox before I left for work and there was nothing in there ?

Depending on your post office it could take 1-3 days to reach you!

Hey Guys! I just read this thread and I'm SO bummed! I applied with a 13.38 ?

I wish I never read that cut off score either. Going to use this quarantine time to mourn.

Anyways, good luck everyone & much love.

Ps I called today and asked but they wouldn't tell me cut off or number of applicants. All they said was that they mailed them out yesterday.

@LubTur Don't lose hope just yet! You have no idea if people will still want to go into this career after this pandemic, and more seat could be available than the last few years due to people not accepting their seats from fear. It's a long shot but it is a very strange time in the world right now LOL.

Guys I have a question. Is there a waitlist? If a student decides to go to a different nursing program do they replace those student with those less fortunate who didn't make the cut off LOL?

LOL there is no waitlist BUT they do move down their list if someone decides to not take their seat

Really?? so hypothetically speaking -I still have hope- Lets say I got a decline letter, I could later on get a conditional acceptance letter?

is that a common thing or does it rarely happen?

You could! When I saw the counselor he said roughly 20 students pass up their seat yearly because of whatever circumstances
