Hello everyone,,

is is anyone here waiting for their acceptance letter to Oakland community college? Also are there any students here that is currently in the program? I am really pump to get started and is looking for any advice I can receive about the program in general.

I got winter start date like I requested as well! So far it seems like everyone got what they wanted. I wonder when orientation will be? Has to be before May if some of you will be starting with pharmacology.

they mentioned in the email that packets will be mailed out this week, so hopefully by next week we will know when orientation is. Anyone here plan on doing anything else in the future beside bedside nursing? Ex, nurse practitioner, midwife, Nurse Anesthetist.. Just curious

I was planning on becoming a midwife but I've been watching nurses go through the masters program and it's quite intense so we'll see.

I believe so far just you, Amanda & me from this page selected Winter. I used to have a facebook but got rid of it, starting to think I need to get one again so I can stay in touch with everyone! Will you be taking pharmacology this fall, if so what was your first choice for class options? Maybe we will be in class together!
