I failed the first time with only 78 questions--I was also suffering from bad morning sickness. I studied nclex 3000, saunders, kaplan (book only-no expensive class), and a 5 week course through ncsbn. I liked the ncsbn questions but it was way too much material--I only skimmed the first 7 lessons and didn't do anything with lessons after that. I focused on my weak areas--hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, addisons/cushings, insulins and memorized lab values. I honestly thought it wasn't too bad on my second attempt.
