Hello!! i'm currently getting ready to sit the NZ Nursing COuncil state exams to be a registered nurse in three weeks...i'm just wondering if anyone can help give me a few tips on how to study and prepare for state exams...the nursing school says 'study everything' but there is just sooooo much its overwhelming. is state really a difficult exam?!? because i'm so stressed about it its terrible...any...ANY advice at all would be so appreciated. thanks :-D
Are we discussing actual questions on your state final? Are you allowed to actually discuss these questions?
Umm! I think it is NO secret with regards to the questions. The yellow book is even more similar to the real questions in the state. I believe the previous discussion was really good as it helps the future students sitting states. Well done for sharing your knowledge. Thanks.x
i think i got it from Bennetts bookstore but maybe it was from USB or UBS wotever books. it was about $20.00 and is a photocopied book from Christchurch univ with state examination questions... well not actual ones but good ones of how they will be written. Its good cause its very straight forward (doesnt have answers though) and is simplified compared to the NCLEX. Ive just done a search on this book however.. and cannot find it. Its title is: Bachelor of Nursing Preparation for the registration examination. (faculty of health, humanities and science - CPIT: christchurch polytechnic institute of technology) The barcode says: Nursing state exam practise booklet. SKU648101. Hope u can find this, maybe contact the polytech directly if its no longer openly listed for sale. Goodluck.
