NYU Transfer Fall 2019

Hello everyone,

I'm currently applying to NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing as a transfer student. I saw some threads from previous years so I thought I'd make one to see if anyone else is applying ?

I'm assuming we'll hear back late May. I really hope I do not have to wait until June! The wait has been brutal, especially with all the ABSN applicants receiving their acceptances already.

Overall 3.55/ Pre req's 3.85

My GPA is okay but I worked as a medical assistant/certified EMT/ good letters of rec, etc. I have heard so many different things about people that are accepted so I'm not really sure what to expect!

Im in the same boat! I know they accepted people last year with a GPA as low as a 3.4, so I have no idea what to expect, I just hope its sooner rather then later!

Thank you!!!! And good for you! Keep your hopes up because everyone still has plenty of time to hear back and it sounds like lots of people are not even accepting their offers so that may leave more seats open!

Were you accepted as a traditional transfer or for the ABSN?

Thank you! And I was accepted as a Second Degree (non-accelerated) Transfer. Basically I will finish my remaining prerequisites at NYU this Fall and then roll right into the ABSN program in Spring 2020.

Ohh! Congrats! I’m a traditional transfer and I still haven’t heard anything, anyone else?
