NYU nursing applicant; high school senior

Hi everyone,

I am currently a high school senior in the college application process. After a lot of careful thought and research, I have decided to pursue a career in nursing (specifically hoping to become a nurse practitioner eventually), and have applied to New York University's College of Nursing Early Decision.

No matter what I search, I cannot find very much firsthand information about NYUCN! Of course, most nursing schools are very competitive, but does anyone have an idea of just how competitive NYUCN is? Especially for entering freshmen (not second degree transfers etc)?

Also, if there are any current NYUCN students that can shed some light on their experience both at the school and in the admission process that would be amazing.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, and good luck to all other nursing hopefuls!
