NYU New Grad Residency Spring 2022

Decided to post a new forum here for all of us applying for the Spring 2022 Nursing Residency Program!

If anyone's gotten good news, please share! I get that we're "competitors" (eye roll) but we are ALL nurses, and each and every one of us matters. Let's celebrate the good news and be happy for our fellow nurses! Besides, we're all going to get there in the end, no matter where our paths take us on the way. :)

Hi Everyone! I applied about weeks ago but when I check my application portal my application isn't there. Only the application from the Summer externship I did there last Summer. I was wondering if anyone experienced anything similar. I got an email confirmation that it went through but there is no way for me to check the status of my application. Good luck and congrats to everyone!

Welcome! I don’t know exact dates I’d have to go back and look for sure but I think like a couple of weeks?

I’m not sure about everyone else but I did have my BSN when I applied - I had already taken my boards and was waiting on my licensure

Hello I am also in the same boat. I applied on 3/24 to the one in Brooklyn and I still have not heard anything as of yet. My status just says Profile/Resume Successfully submitted. I am graduating this May and I am also a NYU employee in Mineola.

Not sure if we can post links on this website. I know Youtube takes down comments with links. If you go to the NYU langone website and search up new grad without putting in locations, the application should come up.

Hi everyone, good luck on all the applications. Just want to point out, in NYC, most (if not all) hospitals won't even look at your application without your license or you taking the NCLEX and already passing. If you have submitted an application and haven't heard back, that may be why. If so, I would just re-apply once you get your quick results etc.

An update from my end, I received an offer for NYU Long Island for a Telemetry unit! I applied internally since I also work as a student extern in the Manhattan campus
