Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?

Wait an externship or a residency program for new grad nurses??

You said you had an externship so I said contact that manager you worked with for the residency program

unfortunately, I'd rather not work in that unit again. some weird things happened, like inappropriate behavior with some employees. I have a good relationship with the manager though. Don't think it's appropriate to be like, "hi, don't want to work on your unit but could you help me get a job in another??"

I read on the email they just sent us about April 16th that if you are in the PACU , we can wear business casual for now. I'm pretty sure you wear like surgical scrubs that they provide you with. I read something like that in the uniform section when they sent us all those attachments

I saw that . I'm definitely more comfortable in scrubs so that's what I'll be wearing to orientation haha ! I

I had my panel interview at the ortho hospital and they gave me a verbal offer the same day. Now I'm just waiting for the email for the official offer. Does anyone know if they will send the official offer before receiving all references?

Yes. I did. I applied in September, got put on a phone screen for Nov. Graduated in Dec.

Awesome. And how long did it take for you to get a call after sending in your resume?

From my understanding they will not. They send the official offer once all your references are in

Hi y'all! Amazing news! After months of going back and forth I received a job offer today! I start May 14th! Congrats to everyone else who starts on Monday! Good luck.

I currently have 1 year experience as an RN with my associate degree, but I am graduating with my BSN in a couple weeks. Do I qualify for the 2018 spring new graduate posting? If yes,how long does it take for them to contact after the resume is sent?

If you already have a year of experience, you wouldn't be considered a new grad
