Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?
Here's my stats:
Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Physio: A-
Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Chem for health sciences: C+
Nutrition: A
Stats: C
Lifespan dev: B
Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.
Feel free to comment whatever is on your mind. What are your stats? Where are you from and what other schools will you be applying at? Help a sistah out!
I’d be really disappointed with them if we don’t get a decision today. Especially if they wrote in the letter July 15th AND told me over the phone that today we would hear.

It’s getting a little ridiculous now. At least just give us some peace. It’s really not right. I know things are out of whack but come on.

I agree with both statements above. At this rate I'll hear back from my other school before NYU, and I applied several months later. Not to mention the anxiety I've had since this morning.
I've called twice today and both times they said we should hear back by the end of the day. This is so disappointing.

People have heard at like 5:30. Hopefully they get to us by then
Im praying. I think I soaked through like 5 shirts today sweating from anxiety. At first I was chill about this but now I'm NERVOUS. I'm still working full time and so I need time to get my *** together before school starts. As more time goes on, the less faith I have inn what's to come after the acceptance.

Awww don’t worry hopefully it’s good news! Also last time they sent denials in the morning and acceptances in the evening. So hopefully that means something
