  1. Didn’t get in. Good luck guys. They said they closed the waitlist based on current enrollment numbers
  2. WOW! they really played all of us. It’s 5PM.
  3. Like even if it’s “no” I could sleep at night you know. I don’t like the cliff hangers.
  4. It’s getting a little ridiculous now. At least just give us some peace. It’s really not right. I know things are out of whack but come on. Like I can’t believe they would just leave so many people hanging like this.
  5. I don’t think there’s as many people on the waitlist as it seems. This thread just happens to have the bulk of them. We will probably hear back on the 15th then. It is what it is. don't be so hard on yourselves. It’s a rough year, and the fact you guys still want to be in this profession after all that’s happened says a lot. You have spirit. We’ll all get someplace NYU or not. Nyu would be nice to attend but it’s definitely not the end all be all. I’m sure in 5 years it won’t even matter that we graduated from NYU well all be doing the same job. Just something to keep in mind. The nurses I work with at my job tell me all the time it doesn’t matter whether I graduate from a CUNY or NYU well all he doing the same job. Nursing is not like business school. At the end of the day the name you graduated from doesn’t determine what you are assigned to as a nurse. You do the same assignments. And no matter what school you graduate from most nurses tell me they all felt unprepared for the NCLEX.
  6. I really think they are still seeing how many spots they have after counting totals Of people who accepted their offer and what not, and once they know they’ll let us know on July 15th if they have spots open. I do not think they are letting the people on the waitlist know as soon as a spot gets available. They probably will just let us all know on that specific date, I guess it’s easier for them. I do not think this is the same process as the initial acceptance process. I feel like with all that’s going on, people have already withdrew/ declined their offer and they would’ve told us by now if they were doing it immediately. I’m sure there’s going to be spots, just we have to wait till next month for a sure response. That’s just my opinion, does not mean it’s true. This is why I still put my deposit down and had my schedule done at another school, and told that school if NYU accepts me I will be going there instead, just in case things change.
  7. I don’t think we’re going to hear anything till the 13th. The letter I got after I agreed to stay on the waitlist said they would tell us on the 13th.
  8. Okay great! I hope you got in!
  9. Is anyone just sitting and waiting for them to start the meeting? It’s 1004 and it still says the host has another meeting in progress
  10. All interviews are virtual for tmr I just got the confirmation from one of the advisors at pace and to disregard any email saying to come to the school.
