NYU accelerated, Fall 2016

Anybody here applied to the accelerated nursing program at NYU? I cannot find any forums about that...

OMG!!!! You are amazing!!! I already know that you will be accepted, there is no way you wouldn't!!! I just hope there are not too many amazing applicants as you are bc I would be rejected :(

No!! You have a stellar gpa and have background experience. We will both get in !! I know they look at each applicant holistically- so that's good!!

I just hope they let us know on the 31st..

Yes!! Can't wait!! They need to send those decisions ASAP!! Where did you find that they will send decision on the31?

I saw somewhere that it was on 31st, but I guess is changed to the 1st of April. Here you go, that's from the website, "We expect that all admission decisions will be released on your Application Status link on December 15th starting at 5pm Eastern Time for Early Decision I candidates and on February 15 after 5pm for Early Decision II candidates. Admission decisions for Regular Decision candidates will be available sometime on April 1st after 5pm. Please ensure your pop up blocker is off before checking for your decision. Decisions will not be released over the phone until 5 days after decisions have been released via the Application Status link. Admission decisions for Spring 2016 transfer students will be e-mailed beginning in mid-November while decisions for Fall 2016 transfer students will be e-mailed beginning in early May." I think I applied as the priority, but I guess April 1st is for us, bc the others had time for submission due April 1st, so they cannot have decision that early.

I hope both of you get accepted. I just started taking pre-reqs for nursing school. NYU is one of my tops schools. I will be applying to other schools as well because I was told that NYU is very competitive.

It's 25-30% which not that bad. My undergrad is less than 20%...
