hi congrats! at what time did they send you the acceptance letter?
Did anyone here apply for the second degree non-accelerated nursing program? I originally applied for the ABSN but apparently one of my prerequisites is not accepted since I’m missing the lab component so they told me I’ll only be considered for the non-accelerated. I already have 6/7 prereqs completed. Assuming I get in and decide to attend, is my only option to take the single pre-req I’m missing at NYU during Spring 2021 and then move on to the nursing curriculum the next fall? Is there any flexibility with completing prereqs at NYU? I feel it would be a waste of time if I spend a semester only taking 1 class. I tried contacting the nursing advising office at NYU but didn’t receive any response.

Also, did your checklist disappear prior to getting accepted?
Thank you so much!
Stats:
A&P I: A
A&P II: A
Micro: A
Lifespan: A
Stats: B-
Chem: in progress
Nutrition: in progress
Undergrad GPA: 3.065
When I went on to view the decision the checklist was gone.
Congrats everyone! I honestly don't think the date you submitted your application is an indicator of when you will receive a decision. The school likely looks at all applications and then sends decisions based on who they want most to attend their program. After a group of people either accept or decline, they have an idea of how many seats have been filled so far and how many more acceptances they can offer
