I'll be applying for the Spring 2021 start. I have 8 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in critical care. Worked with the Make-A-Wish foundation as a wish granter. Member of multiple advisory boards and committees in school and at the hospital. Multiple certifications applicable to nursing.

Undergraduate GPA (B.A.) - 3.47

Graduate GPA (MBA) - 3.16

Prerequisites (completed):

Anatomy & Physiology I - A

Microbiology - A

Statistics - A

Nutrition - A

Developmental Psych - A

Prerequisites (in-progress):

Anatomy & Physiology II - on-track for an A

Chemistry I - on-track for an A

A person I spoke with in admissions said they will give decisions after Oct 15th. It'll take about 4 weeks after final deadline may be delayed due to Covid.

Does anyone know how long it takes for you to get the Portal info to see the status of everything? I have also sent my recommendation letters via the email they provided. Does anyone know if there is a way you can check to see if they attached it to your application?

it takes about 1-4 days to get your portal info.

I applied for fall 2020 and I submitted my app a week before the regular deadline (April) and it took so long to hear back. some people who got into other schools needed to make their school deposit and still haven't heard back from nyu yet.

Hello Everyone,

I applied to NYU's ABSN Fall 2020 cohort and was eventually placed on the waitlist. NYU then sent out a letter that said that they had to close the entire waitlist due to over enrollment. In the meantime, I was recently accepted in to Northeastern University's 16 month ABSN program for the Spring 2021 cycle, but the price is steep and I would have to move. So, that being said here I am, ready for round 2. Here are my stats:

BA in Psychology '14, BA in Sociology '17

Chem 1 lecture: A-

Chem 1 Lab: A

A&P 1: B

A&P 2: B-

Microbio w Lab: B+ (online)

Nutrition: A+ (completed over the Summer)(online)

Statistics: A

Dev Psych: A (completed over the Summer)(online)

I've volunteered and shadowed doctors at Mount Sinai SLR, Mt. Sinai Queens, Lenox Hill Hospital, and a pediatrician at a private clinic.

In the infamous words of Aaliyah: "If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again".

letters through the app service & transcripts directly to NYU, the address is on their ABSN website. ?
