NYU ABSN Spring 2020

Hello everyone!

My name is Kaitlyn and I was recently accepted into NYU Meyers as a Second Degree (non-accelerated) student. I'll be finishing up my prerequisite courses at NYU this Fall 2019 and will then begin the ABSN curriculum with, hopefully, some of you all in the Spring 2020 cohort!

Just wanted to start a thread for everyone to communicate on as you all work on getting your applications in ?

Called today to ask if there will still be decisions sent out this week with the holiday and they stated that admissions decisions go out daily... and the wait continues.

I don’t think anyone made one yet. But that would be awesome to connect before orientation week!!

Hi, has anyone who submitted their application near the October due date heard back already? I'm dying to find out already!

I submitted my application in September!! I called NYU today and asked when I’m going to be getting a decision, they said maybe end of November to early Jan!! This is crazy! I already submitted my deposit to molloy, but I feel like I would still strongly consider NYU. Ugh! This is so ridiculous. I don’t believe they’re going out daily! And they said rejections go out at the same time, but after reading past forums I see rejections are mostly at the end of Jan!! Ugh.

I spoke with an admissions rep today, and she told me all decisions will be going out next week. I really hope it’s true! The waiting is making me crazy!

You know I don’t think that’s true it’s crazy that they tell us all different things.... they do it I think just to keep us quiet.
