NYU ABSN Spring 2019

I was recently admitted into the NYU Second Bachelor's in Nursing Program, but since I have not finished all the pre-requisites thus applied as a non-accelerated student, I won't start the curriculum until Spring 2019, so I've decided to start a thread for that cohort.

I just called admissions and they said that the decisions will be sent out in three batches. The first batch will be mid November up until Thanksgiving..

I can understand the whole mid November thing, but all the way up to Thanksgiving? A bit of a stretch. Especially for the people moving to NY from out of state who need to find an apartment and such. Not down for campus housing at 24 years old lol

Agreed. I am coming from Louisiana and need to prepare / start packing, especially if I want to dance around the holiday in the least stressful way. Well, c'est la vie, I suppose!

Applied ~ August 5th

Accepted October 26

Plan to accept and attend

BA 3.9 / MA 3.8 / MS 3.7

Prerequisites: 3.8

Former EMT / couple years in psychiatry departments / couple years in disaster response / currently in HIV Prevention and disaster prep.
