  1. They sent out an email regarding the orientation/admitted students day a few days after I paid the deposit. The Spring schedule is on the Albert page where it also states your clinical rotation location. I also created a FB group (didn't see one yet) titled "NYU ABSN Spring 2019-2020". Here's the link for the orientation day in January, you'll also need to attend the CPR/BLS training that week: Orientation Events | NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing
  2. I attended the orientation and it was great! I did see a few parents there so that won't be a problem if yours will be joining you :)
  3. That's definitely really frustrating since there's a lot of moving parts involved with making such a big decision.. apologies if you mentioned it earlier, but have you called NYU's office to confirm they have everything? I submitted my app 10/5 and two weeks later I checked to see if everything was received. It showed that two transcripts were pending and when I called, they confirmed they did have those documents and then updated my checklist to reflect that. I then received the decision on 10/26. I think they only recently started using the common app for the ABSN program so maybe they haven't fully adjusted yet?
  4. They send the financial aid information a few days after you receive the acceptance! Once you log in to Albert it shows what scholarships/loans you're eligible for :)
  5. Same.. hope we hear back soon!
  6. What status is everyone's application at currently?
  7. What?? The admitted students orientation days are 11/12, 11/19, 11/26, and 12/3 so I don't think they could realistically release the remaining decisions on 12/1.. that wouldn't give anyone time to make it to the orientation day :/
  8. The decisions were posted right around 5PM last week so I think they'll follow a similar pattern!
  9. Thank you! Hoping everyone else hears back SOON!! Classes start 1/28 per the NYU academic calendar.
  10. Certainly! We should definitely keep each other in the loop. I emailed admissions today to see if there's an approximate time frame as to when decisions go out - they said there is no specific time frame since it's an ongoing process.
  11. Yes! It said you have to submit the decision within two weeks and also withdraw any acceptances you have from other schools.
  12. Yes I was accepted as well! Still letting it all sink in... also trying to think about how to pay for it all :X!
  13. Ahhh I see it!! Yes it is right at the bottom of the page on the applicant portal.
  14. Whoa!! That's so great to hear - congratulations :) Hopefully others hear back soon as well!
