NYU Absn Fall 2018

Hello, I just sent my application for NYU's absn program in Fall 2018. Just wanted to get in contact with other applicants and (fingers crossed future classmates) see who else is applying. I have a lower GPA so I kind of feel like this may be a long shot for me but lets see how it goes. Has anyone received early acceptance?

Hey Slivecchi,

Thank you for starting this thread! I also want to get in touch with other applicants applying for the acclerated Fall 2018 program so hopefully we get more people to reach out. I applied February 21st before the March 1st priority and I've just been anxiously waiting. I'm so nervous as NYU is my top school and I really want to get in. Also, I wouldn't stress too much on GPA. After reading posts from previous years it seems as though NYU looks at your overall application. There have been people in the past with a GPA of 2.6 - 2.8 that have been accepted and people with a 3.8 gpa who have been denied. So I definitely think they will consider all factors of our application such as: letter of recs, essay, resume, and credentials. I'm happy to answer any questions people may have :).
