Hi everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone was applying to NYU for the ABSN program in fall 2017? I'm kind of nervous because my GPA isn't the highest since I had to work all four years to help pay for school which took away from my studying time. I do have work experience in the health care field and a little over 100 hours of health related volunteering. Also, how is everyone planning on paying for school since it is soo expensive?
I just got my acceptance today as well but couldn't post until now! Thanks for posting...wouldn't have been so quick to check albert if i didn't see your post haha.
Soo excited since this was my top choice and a dream come true! I'll be coming from Los Angeles, CA so if anyone has any suggestions/tips for housing in NYC, please do tell. Would really appreciate it.
For everyone else still waiting to get a decision, I wish you all the very best. I know how difficult the waiting process can be as i literally checked Albert too many times a day. If you call them, they may tell you if your application was reviewed and from there you can get an idea about when you will hear back. :)
Okay I've calmed down and am less bummed now. Hopefully it's just a glitch in their system or they're backed up and if enough people ask, they'll realize that there are quite a few people who have not received these emails with a lot of important information in them and they'll get it taken care of.
I was on the same boat as you but paid my deposit a few days earlier. It took 2-3 weeks to start receiving emails so I wouldn't get too angry yet. I went to the new student event last night (not mandatory like the orientations in September) and everyone was VERY nice so I'm sure this isn't something they can control. Hope you start getting emails soon! :-)
got my acceptance 2 days ago. is it confirmed that the definite price for the whole 15 month program is at least 100k? please give feedback so i can weigh this into my decision
Congrats!
I believe so. This is the link to the nursing school cost per semester for 2016/17 which adds up to just a little under $100K. Rory Meyers College of Nursing 2

Hey! The official COA (cost of attendance) for the 2017/2018 school year states that without room and board, the current tuition is around 56k for the fall/spring semesters, so it'll be around 112k including the summer/last fall semesters. After factoring in living expenses, it's quite expensive. Hope that helps!

Hey guys, are any of you missing nutrition and received e-mail about registration? I was told I could take it over the summer but as I was clicking through links, I noticed it said the class is not available for non-matriculated students. I can't register until may 15 and I don't want to find out then that I can't actually take it..I tried contacting someone and never got a response so I'm just curious if anyone is in my position??
