NYU ABSN Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone was applying to NYU for the ABSN program in fall 2017? I'm kind of nervous because my GPA isn't the highest since I had to work all four years to help pay for school which took away from my studying time. I do have work experience in the health care field and a little over 100 hours of health related volunteering. Also, how is everyone planning on paying for school since it is soo expensive?

That's weird that they didn't send any out yet. I sent my $500 deposit in for admissions. Did everyone else do so?

I got accepted to George Washington to. I wonder if we're in the same cohort? Are you going to admitted student day on the 21st?

I GOT IN!!!! Checked Albert about 5 minutes ago, haven't received an email yet but I've been checking my albert every 4 hours basically.. and FINALLY received my acceptance decision!!!! I will most likely be accepting my spot in the class of 2018, looking forward to meeting ya'll who have been accepted!!!! CONGRATS TO US! Good luck to those still waiting!!

There will be a purple "Admissions Decision" button under your "Application Status" at the top of the page (under your name).

i just checked and got in. I know its easier said than done to say relax when you have not heard of a decision but theres lots of time left for decisions to go out. And i will say try to keep your mind off of it. Thats what i did. I would limit myself in the amount of times i checked Albert or itll drive you crazy. Good luck to everyone else, keep a positive mind set

Officially accepted this morning with a scholarship, happy dance! I'm so excited to join the class of 2018!

It's my first time posting here, but I got in today as well!! Does anyone have any financial aid info showing up? For me, it says "award access is not available." Is this because we're accelerated students?.... Congrats to everyone that got in!! I def know the anxiety of waiting so I empathize with you guys & hope you hear back soon!
