NYU ABSN Fall 2016

I am looking into applying for the NYU ABSN Fall 2016 program. I was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips and thoughts on what I should know when applying for the program.

Hi! I was recently accepted into the Fall 2016 cohort! Congrats to everyone!

Does anyone know when is the absolute deadline to submit the deposit? I'm still not able to check my financial aid package and I'm reluctant to accept the offer without knowing how much it'll cost me. Anyone have any ideas? I haven't found time to call NYU yet so I'm scavenging the internet for answer :p

I would check previous threads to see if there's anything there... but your best bet is to just call so you don't miss your shot or give a deposit and dont qualify for much aid. Good luck and congrats

Hello,

I received my acceptance letter on 4/7 last Thursday. In the email, it says three weeks from that date to accept the offer. But when I called the admissions office, they told me it's two weeks from that date (which is 4/21). I suggest you calling the office to double check that, because the email is very misleading!

Our orientation day will be on 9/14 and the first newly admitted student day on campus is at the end of April

Im not sure what day your newly admitted student day on campus is- if I remember correctly you get a tour of the sim lab and you talk to some teachers/students- but if you guys have any questions that don't get answered or anything like that, I'll most likely be in school if you want to ask me anything.

Hey guys! I was accepted as well and according to other forums I've read from other people who were accepted last week called to confirm the deadline for the deposit and they were told 10 days! It's confusing

I just received an email saying the new student admit day for ABSN students is Wednesday 4/27. And there will be more events in May and June for those of you who can't make it to that day.

Same! I received it too. I called today to ask if April 27 is the only day they have. She replied that May ( something I forgot lol) and June 2nd !!

P.S. I am really worried about the financial aspect.

- I saw a lot of people were wondering when they get their financial aid package, so I don't know if this information will be useful to anyone, but I had gotten my acceptance on 11/16 and I just went back to my old emails, and I got an email in my NYU email account that my financial aid package was available - on 11/18. I don't know if this is because I had paid the deposit already, I don't think it does - but time wise - it was two days after I got my acceptance email. You can always check to see if it was posted by logging onto your NYU Albert account. Hope this helps!
