NYP self assessment

Hello All,

Has anyone had to do a self assessment for NYP to get a job? Please let me know.

I was wondering how honestly people answered.

Or did you base your answers more on what you believed they would want to hear?

I think I answered pretty honestly. Did you already complete it? If so, did you receive a phone call the following day?

I just completed it this morning. I had until 1145PM this evening to take it.

No phone call yet.

I found some of the questions strange, and I just tried to answer carefully in accordance with what I believed to be the best course of action for each situation.

I reviewed it before I submitted it online.

Hopefully it is to their liking.

May I ask what your telephone interview was like?

The telephone interview wasn't even a formal interview at all, they literally just asked me what my top two specialties of interest were, when I graduated (even though that is on my resume), etc. And I was then told that if they were interested in hiring me, I should be hearing something within two weeks. It hasn't been two weeks yet so I am still waiting.

WJS1, what do you mean by strange. Do you mean pick the best answer type questions with possible more than one right answer. These type of questions are horrible. There is the case of what you would do and what you think the hospital wants you to do.

It seems that a lot of people are getting this questionnaire. I wonder what I'm doing wrong that I didn't even get picked to fill out the questionnaire. :(

Goldruss, did they end up calling you within two weeks, just curious since u were the first poster over a month ago.

Yes, I was called within two weeks for an nterview but I declined because I got a position somewhere else. You can always call them and follow up! Good luck :)

Thanks! My two weeks isn't up yet since the phone interview, which was the day after I completed the assessment. I am going to wait til two weeks is up before I reach out to anyone. I hope I hear from them soon, I am getting anxious. Congrats on your other position!

-No calculator required. It's a series of behavioral questions regarding working habits.

I answered as honestly as possible; so we shall see...

I'll post again should my performance on the test get me an interview.

Hello all and good luck with your application. I was wondering if you guys are BSN holders? I starte fillig out an online application for NYP new grads but got ddiscourage as it the requirement said the are accepting BSN graduates. Has anyone applied with an ADN and got a call back?
