Hello,
I posted a question on the Nursing Programs Discussion board about NYIT but have not had any responses. If any current students or graduates could share any information regarding NYIT's BSN program, I would be very grateful! I'm concerned that no one seems to be considering or even discussing their program.

I considered applying here but I was not impressed by the low NCLEX pass rate.
You can see the pass rates for all the programs in the state at

Ouch! Good to know. Thanks.
If you want to you can still apply there ...the NCLEX score just did not sit well with me.
I am applying to LIU-Brooklyn, College of Mt. St. Vincent, College of New Rochelle for the Fall 2010 semester.
I am still very much on the fence about NYIT.

I know someone that graduated from there in 2009 and is having SERIOUS issues finding a job. The Nclex pass rate IS low. I would suggest to look into other programs.
As long as you have the grades you should be fine. I already know a few graduates from last year (2010) who are working at well known hospitals in Long Island.
