Was offered a position at NYU for about 93k base pay recently and they stated that new grads would also be bumped up in September to 104k base pay. Mount Sinai position mentioned it was around 100k base pay but I'm not sure if it's specifically for the specialty I interviewed for
Hope that helps!

That’s amazing! So if you’re a new grad would you get the new base pay as well or are you stuck with 93k?
wait. I’m nosey, what specialty did you apply for? Im graduating soon and am TERRIFIED about what I should be looking forward to in salary.
please share your knowledge. Im trying to be an adultier adult

I don't think it's really a speciality haha but it's an acute surgical floor! The Mount Sinai one was for oncology though which is more specialized

I think it’s hard to say because it differs depending on hospital and unit too. I’ve heard that at least 90k is a pretty good standard to expect

Hello! I’m wondering if people wouldn’t mind contributing to how much they’re getting paid as a new grad RN in NYC hospitals. Where you work at, base pay and any night differential if you’re working nights. Thank you.
