Is anyone taking the exam for the year 2015-2016 lpn cnet for brooklyn and manhattan adult center did you guys register?

Good! Me and the Caribbean sun need some one on one time in August. LOL!

Anyone taking the CNET exam Nov 9?

Ive been studying really hard lately

Good luck with the exam itz_klove!

I've been studying very hard too, but I'm not confident. English is not my first language, so I'm very worry about the reading comprehension and language ability section. Anyway, best of luck to you.

Hello All,

Just got in from taking the CNET exam in Manhattan..

First off let me say, "I think I did well on the exam"

The instructors will tell you the rules. Please listen, do not move ahead of the class. My group was told the reason why the exam is timed is because the lpn program is compact, and we need to think fast.

A few tips from Me to You.

Please time yourself, alot of people ended up bubbling in answers when the one minute warning time went off.

Also, brush up on your vocabulary, Ive seen alot of Antonyms and Synonyms in the language ability section. Please Build a Better Vocabulary, the words to some, may seem difficult.

Another thing, the Math Section. I wish someone told me there will be alot of conversions, no not the easy ones. The word problem proportion/ conversion. Please practice decimals and fractions, time nearly ran out on me, and I can count pretty fast in my head.

Good Luck to Everyone Else,

Keep posting People!!!!

I had to reschedule my exam due to a family emergency. They will be contacting me in a week or two to give me the new test date.

Hello Ladies,

I took the test on Friday {Nov. 21st} and I also think I did pretty well. I too was surprised at the number of conversions on the exam and had to speed up at the 10 minute mark in the Math Section. I am a bit anxious and can't wait till the results but I am staying positive. Hoping to make it into September 2015's class. ANYONE else take the exam on Friday? How did you do? @itz_klove hope you make it in..thanks for all the tips.

I took the exam on Friday, nov 21. I think I did ok on the reading, as for math, I think I did ok too, but I ran out of time with last couple of questions. As for the language ability section, the vocabulary was hard for me, I think I did horrible on it. But the spelling and grammar is wasn't too bad. I studied tons of vocabulary words, but the words I studied didn't come out in the test, how unlucky am I. I hope I didn't fail because of the vocabulary section. I wasn't feeling too well that day and have a terrible headache the whole time I was taking the test. I didn't want to reschedule the test, i just want to get it over with.

Hello everyone. I was accepted into the program for the 2014-2015 cycle so I dont mind giving you guys advice. When i took the CNET I studied with a sample test I purchased, from there I knew what the test would be like and what to work on and I did very well. Even if you don't pass the cnet with a 50% in all of the sections you can still be invited to the next testing phase (teas) if your combined score is above 50%. So don't stop studying, the teas is very similar to the CNET so whatever you struggled with on the CNET you will see again. In my case my teas was scheduled in less then 2 weeks from receiving my CNET scores. If you end up moving on with a conditional letter you will need to shine on the teas; the teas shows your percentile for all teas exam takers but no pressure right... if you receive a regular letter that's great but you can't let that make you comfortable. Either way study. I used an android app called teas pocket prep, you have to buy it, but it is spot on I scored in a very high percentile on the teas and mainly used this app. The teas book is good but I was always on the go so I preferred the app.

Best of luck and keep studying

I finally recieved my new exam date. It will be December 14. Anyone else scheduled for that date?

my reschedule date is on December 14 as well at 8 am good luck

I just got my result, and I failed. I wanted to cry, I worked so hard on it. I passed all section except the language ability section. There's 60 question on that section and i got 45 correct, that give me the percentiles of only 36. That sucks, I guess I'll keep on studying and wait to take the test again next year.

u might still get invited to take the second test
