Is anyone taking the exam for the year 2015-2016 lpn cnet for brooklyn and manhattan adult center did you guys register?
Hello all!
Ive been researching this test on the allnurses since November. I took my test on Dec 12 and received my results yesterday. I got 132/150.
Reading 34/40 - 67 %
Math 48/50 - 91%
Language 50/60 -45%
Overall 75%
The language was the hardest for me. I registered hastily on a whim and only gave myself a month to study. I bought the McGraw-Hill 2009 Nursing School Entrance Exam workbook off of ebay for about 6.50 and took free practice tests &a free practice SAT online while I waited for my book to be delivered. The book stresses grammar but the vocabulary was much harder on the PNAT. Overall though I think its a great resource. My TEAS is in 2weeks.
QUESTION!! My TEAS letter says that there will not be a science section on the exam, does anyone else know about this?
To clarify, I am on a Very tight financial budget, very limited disposable funds so I HAD to be as resourceful as I possibly could. I only had enough to register for my seat and by that workbook and I took every free test I could find. I realize my original post might sound kind of lax. I haven't been in school in almost 6 years and I studied my butt off on what I had (and I was not confident at all)- just to say, it CAN be done. Thank God I made it this far
TEAS science question still applies lol
