Nybon Nursing School Under Investigation

I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

yes it was closed 2015 but it was accredited. It was a voluntary closed not a force shutdown. 
 

plus I was extremely ill for years. So that's why it took me a while to get back to my career.

You need to get a lawyer this holdup is nonsense. There's no reason for them to hold your score up

To be honest, calling 518-474-3817 ext 280 is for the processing unit all they are responsible for is the processing of documents, and are told what to do and say.

How NYBON even let that happen, much less let them continue to have a active license.  These are the people that made it bad for.others. there were alot from Helen flud that went the Florida route. Im sure there are other schools as well. NY should of put all those on hold with active license 

It's funny you mention Helen Fuld. Now everything is unfolding I thought Helen was a great school they offer the RN what they have to do with FL I'm lost ?

Nice but no thanks. The people behind the NYS BON can be brought to civil court for economic damages. Nobody is immune to be brought to court

Yes that is true.

Also when Attorney general get involved they start looking into things; but ny is shady so who knows

I'm expecting to get my license from the NYS BON next month, if I don't get I am planning to sue them personally not the board of course there's no institution with no people behind it, but the workers responsible for this.

Make sure u have a good lawyer that knows what there doing
