I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

Nope, its not. I actually spoke to someone in OIG (the department responsible for fraud cases) and they said NY is trippin
And no one is standing up and saying what nybon is doing is wrong. That story came out and went dead the next month.
I'm telling you NY don't know what they're doing they're all blaming each other. They have no idea why they holding us up? no one will have a specific answer. It's just going to ride out like so and hoping that we give up and they will move on to the next shenanigan

So true
And see how quick they release these licenses when another outbreak appears. Lolll

O yeah. It was OK when there was a outbreak and they knew what those students did. They had people working with no license didn't care if u were still in school or from another state

After 5 months of waiting, I just went ahead and asked FL for re-entry. I got my ATT today, and I'll be retesting soon. I'm so saddddd, but I can't lose sight of the end goal. It took me 7 years to pass, but at least now I know I can.
I pray something shakes soon because this isn't fair at all.
I'm happy for you. I have a question please, Florida doesn't mind when the school is on probation?

Fl gives schools a chance to correct students low pass and if no improvement then they shut them. Probation is a written warning

Hey, so Im not sure. I think you'll be okay...especially if the school wasnt on probation while you were taking classes.

Alright Maria, thanks
Hey nurses!
Giving it a go again in two weeks (this time for an actual license). What were your best last minute study tools? I haven't studied much since I passed in May. However, I have been doing good on Archer.
Thanks in advance

Exactly with no actions taken. But hold the others back. Make it make sense. I thought fraud was wrong, I guess with nybon that means u can still keep your license and work.
