I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

I graduated from their program school LPN to RN. Even though I received my RN compact license from. Florida since 2021. Today I find out, my license my get revoked because of their fraud. I am in the process of getting lawyer to protect my LPN license not sure if I am able to keep my RN. As of right now is still in good condition
I have not received my RN license 6 months. I am not happy about this, but someone posted that everything happens for a reason. There are those like yourself who have obtained your license and worked hard for it. How are the authorities going to differentiate those who are legit from this who bought their degree? Please what type of Lawyer do we need to get? Several of us honestly did the schoolwork to get a degree. This person who paid for a fake diploma really gives people who hard work a bad name. I am beside myself like others in this waiting to hear so good news now this is like a bad dream and wake me when over. Has anyone moved on going back to school and if so what school thank you. Let's continue to keep faith, hope, and prayer alive.
We need to get a lawyer. I think the state can give you a criminal defense attorney or what something I guess. Starting all over is crazy and losing all that money especially if you did the work is unfair
Mendez LPN please make sure you get yourself a lawyer to defense your case or else once they complete their investigate they will concluded that your fraud. It almost happened to me. I endorsed my license to different state not knowing school is fraud. Lucky I hired lawyer to defense myself. Instead of having disciplinary action on my record they just denied my RN licensure and it didn't effect my LPN license. I was LPN for 10 years and graduated from accredited school therefore my LPN license was still good. Florida is full of school even they are accredited. I can believe these school just hungry for money and don't even care they effecting many life because of their actions. I believe in karma. I hope we can get civil law class action against the school. We are the victim and not a fraud. I can afford to pay 350 dollars for just consultation from these lawyer they are too expensive and I can't afford it.

Yes we should get a lawyer if that will make a difference. Also we need to call local congressman as suggested by another user. Wow 6 months wait time. Which school did you attend?
Yes. You should. Lawyer will defense for you. Your goal is to make sure that the state will not give you a fine or have discripnary acton against your license even if they plan to denied your licensure. Make sure your credentials is clear. The worst part is they will denied your licensure due to not meeting state minimum requirements. If not , it will effect your future of finding a job due to background of fraud. This is serious matter, it can stop you from further education and job hunting. Don't take this lightly. I never thought I have to hired lawyer twice to defense for myself. This is nightmare for me. It cost me up to 4000 for them to clear my first case during my endorsement. Now I have to deal with school fraud and potentially losing both of my licenses because of fraud. Get a lawyer but wait until the state send you the letter stating that they open investigation on your license, then take that letter to consult with your lawyer. That's what I did the first time. Wish you the best of luck.

Students that went to west palm beach. Would that be waste of time to get a lawyer?

Not at all. If you attended in person then you have every right to get a lawyer so that you are not wrongfully accused.

The investigation is over and theyknow exactly who bought the degrees. They were reported to BON they are licensed by. The feds are not going after them. It's up to the BON now. Some of the BONs have already started revoking licenses.

No. Even your NCLEX scores areheld during education review so you cannot have them sent to another BON.
