Does anyone know if they hire graduate nurses without having taking there NCLEX. I guess the term is hiring with a permit. I graduate in may would love to work there but I need to start right away I need money really bad at this point. :o Also if they do can someone tell me how the process works. Do you just send in your application and resume and there call or do they have a recruitment office. Thank u so much

Hi,

i'm not sure if NYM hires without a license. you will have to contact HR there. i know that they are very quick in responding applications though. I got a call from the HR the morning after i sent them my resume. They have a training session in June if you are interested. go to their website and apply because they're already interviewing for the June group.

good luck!

Thanks Moonberry,

I will apply as soon as possible r u considering working there if they hire u. I love the area and its really convient for me although people have informed me be prepared to work nights there as a new grad

I recommend you to talk with a nurse recruiter....inasmuch as sometimes things will not go the way you planned...keep your fingers crossed!!!!

i applied online in NYM then they called me if i'm still interested to work there, i read from this forum that they have good salary package. I now have a scheduled interview. I wanted to ask also,

1)is their benefit package also good and is it a nice area to move into?i now live in southampton and if things go well i'll be moving in to brooklyn,

2)is it also expensive living here?

Thanks in advance for your response.

I did a summer extern their last year and it was a great experience. I called them this week and inquired if they hire graduating nurses w/o the license and I was told no. I was told to inquire back after I get my license and that they will have another class in September. Good luck to you!

I don't think they do.
