Hi there,
I haven't seen a thread for this yet and there has been one for just about every semester at MEC, so I decided to make one.
I'm currently studying for the TEAS and I've printed out the Fall 2018 application to work on but there are some very confusing elements (and possibly typos?) on it so I plan on asking on Monday. Since they changed nearly everything from previous years I feel like they made some mistakes (possibly).
Is anyone else a little confused? For instance, they tell you not to get a background check until notified to do so, but the complete checklist on the application they give you instructs you to initial that you've completed the background check.
Does anyone else have any questions about it?
MedicMomma84, I applied to NVCC and to TNCC, a VA CC located closer to VB area. I've been wanting to move for some time now, so I was ecstatic when I got in that one! We had our orientation on 5/8 so I'm finishing up getting the rest of the requirements together.
HNurse25, here's my schedule! Although we have the same curriculum, I'm not quite sure if the classes will be formatted the same. At least it's something for you to look at!
Mon: 8am - 11am NSG100 Intro to Nursing Concepts (Lecture)
1pm - 3pm NSG130 Professional Nursing Concepts (Lecture)
Tues: NO CLASSES!!! Except for:
8:30am - 12:30pm NSG100 Intro to Nursing Concepts (Simulation) *WEEK 10 ONLY*
Wed: 8am - 10am NSG200 Health Promo and Assessment (Lecture)
12pm - 2pm NSG200 Health Promo and Assessment (Lab)
Thurs: 8am - 2pm NSG106 Competencies for Nursing Practice (Lab)

Hope that helps. Enjoy and happy studying!
