For those that are applying to the Fall 2020 Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA/NVCC) Fall nursing program we'd like to invite you to reach out to us with any questions you may have.
Make sure to review the information session and program application requirements on our application portal, www.nvcc.edu/medical/apply and our FAQ on our blog https://blogs.nvcc.edu/mecexchange . If you have advising questions drop our office a line by email at [email protected]. One of our advisors will respond. We recommend that if you have questions about your NOVA account, you contact us via your official NOVA student email address. When doing so include your ID number. that will allow our advisors to look up your account and answer questions in greater detail.

Side note - I just took a peek at last year’s thread, and it looks like they found out a year ago today, May 15. Completely understandable that there will be a delay this year, given everything going on...but hopefully it will be our turn soon. Best of luck to you!! :)
Thank you so much! Yeah, we actually had to cancel our wedding due to covid on March 20th and just got married at the court house. It’s been a mess of a couple of months. Good luck with everything! MEC Counselor stated that acceptance letters should be out last week of May/first week of June so fingers crossed! I’m anxious LOL

We also had to cancel our already modest ceremony and get it done with a local celebrant. It can be hard to stomach competing emotions of excitement and disappointment. But anyway, congratulations!! Hope you're finding enjoyment during the weirdest honeymoon ever.
Whatever happens, at least we're all better adapted to navigate unpredictable situations. Wishing you (and all of us in the thread) best of luck ?

Does anyone know when we can inform about Fall Nursing admissions. it is so hard to wait. I can not do anything just thinking about it.
Thanks,
A few weeks ago on the MEC facebook page, they said either the last week of May or first week of June...so hopefully the next week or so! I’m with you, I’m so excited and SO nervous!
I was looking for the post on facebook advising that they had completed their review of the nursing applications and that we should know the end of May beginning of June. I can't find it anymore. Wondering why it was removed. Have any of you been able to see the post on the MEC facebook page?

It’s definitely there. In the comments it mentions they will let us know this week or next.
