NVC does not know whats happening!
Just checked my case with NVC and they(call center) told me that they (NVC) have not sent my papers for CP since my pd is aug 2004 and they are processing june 2002! I asked about the newly released visa bulletin for scheduled A workers, she said that she do not know that as far as she knows, my case is being processed under E3! what the H___! Is this is what's really happening or that agent do not know anything? does someone know what's happening?
Am starting this thread to track cases that has been sent from NVC - CP - interview schedule to know the developments of the processing as a result of the ammended june visa bulletin.
Your experienceand input is very much welcome

hi shaider. early congratulations to you! :)
thanks rep. ~ thanks for the email add. i wrote nvc yesterday and received email from them today at 5:40am. just like to share the letter..
dear madam,
your name has been placed on the list of documentarily qualified cases awaiting the availability of visa numbers under the numerical limitations for your country of birth. you will be notified of an appointment date as soon as the numbers have been received. you should not make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up your employment until you have actually received a visa from the us embassy or consulate general. an immigrant visa is usually valid for six months from the date it is issued. it may be used to apply for admission into the united states any time during its validity.
regards,
national visa center
I called NVC last night to check if the documents were already forwarded to the US embassy Manila and I tried my luck if there's already an interview schedule. A guy name Mario answered and he said that the case is for visa issuance already. I was surprised and told him that I have not been interviewed nor have undergone medical. He said, "yes you will be scheduled for an interview and medical. We will contact your lawyer for the details". NOt contented, I ask for the timeline, when will I expect the notice? How long do I have to wait. He said " I cannot tell you the exact time, but we are processing it already and your visa will come from washington"... then I did not proceed any further, I thank him and for the info. I put down the phone with a smile in lips, I never got the answer I wanted, but somehow, deep inside I think I got an unexpected anwer which is far better than the answer I wanted... and in my head it kept on repeating, "... your case is for visa issuance already" It was comforting to hear that.
Now, I'll just patiently wait, because my case is for visa issuance already :)

Hello dhel28,
Have you filled in or signed DS230 form before your lawyer have sent it to NVC? Did your lawyer send it at the same time with your visa fee and other other documents such as police clearance, etc...?
Goodluck to your Consulate Interview.
Hello dhel28,Have you filled in or signed DS230 form before your lawyer have sent it to NVC? Did your lawyer send it at the same time with your visa fee and other other documents such as police clearance, etc...?
Goodluck to your Consulate Interview.
Yes, my lawyer sent the forms (DS230 last April 15, 2005) thru snail mail, received it April 24, 2005. Accomplished it and gave certified NSO copies and original of the requested copies (visa screen, police/NBI clearance, passport copies, marriage cert, birth cert, etc.) April 27. The lawyers sent it last May 3 trhu overnight to NVC, case completed last May 16, 2005.
Fees were paid last year to the lawyers, but because of retrogression my agency and lawyers decided not to pay yet to NVC. What a wise move, they waited for the lifting of retrogression before deciding to send it to NVC. Fees should be paid before NVC can release the forms.
For consular intervies, NVC advised that the case is "ready to go, will start scheduling iterview JUly 1, so better check again in 1-2 weeks for your interview schedule"
Thanks.
