I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details
Category : EX Schedule A
USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???
GC receive : ????
I hope you can also post here your details interview experience.
God bless!
thanks, adia.yes, we're a patient lot. living in this country makes you acquire such a virtue. :rotfl:
it's just sometimes, when things are not progressing as you expect it to be, you become a tad paranoid. lots of "what if" scenarios play inside your head. i know a lot of you can empathize with that.
but like most of you (especially those who have been waiting longer than we are), we just hold strong. waiting for that day when all our investment in blood, sweat, and tears finally pay off.
HERE'S HOPING FOR A MARCH MIRACLE!!!
God bless you!
I never thought Im goin to say this, but take your time, there's a reason why you do not hav eyour interview yet. In HIS right time.
Enjoy the environment in the Philipiines, you'll definitely miss it once your here!:)

nice to hear from you again, my friend.
i so believe what you've just said.
notwithstanding the diligence of my wife in completing all requirements (ie NCLEX, VSC, etc.), preparing the documents that will be needed for our new baby (ie passport, NSO birth cert, etc.) and the fact that all that's left is the last stage of the process (medical, consular interview, receipt of visa, etc.), we embrace the fact that God is allowing this delay to happen for the sake of the whole family. i believe He is trying to make us see and truly prepare ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually before we take the final plunge.
dale once said to me, there has got to be a divine reason for this slight delay. welcome it.
as i welcome your advise.
welcome back, dhel.
and may God bless you and your family as well.

its really so true to say... its god's will... the delay... just like what happened to us... but god has a plan for all of us...look at us now... we are here COMPLETE...and enjoying what he provided us... god is good... patience is a virtue... trust him and he shall provide...
GOD BLESS US ALL!!!

It really depends, if you will look at our cases an average of 2-4 years is common.
Good luck!
