I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details

NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???
GC receive : ????

I should have I 1-40 approval within the next few weeks:rotfl: this is great news.
The situation is im getting married on the June 2 this year:rotfl: which im very excited. I would like my wife and i to go to the states as soon as we can.
when the ds230 forms arrive can I fill them in even if were not married yet I have submitted proof of the wedding to my attorney. Or will we have to wait untill we are married before we can submit them.
Im sure I recall my attorney saying something like I could and provide proof at the interview? maybe I misheard.
any advice would be appreciated

This is based on my friend's experience, when her I-140 was approved she's single and got marrried before she receive her packet 3. when she submit her packet 3, her husbands' ds-230 was included but they paid the visa fee during the interview.
Just be sure you have the complete documents at hand, marriage certificate' when you submit the packet 3.
In case, the packet 3 arrives before June, you can delay the submission of it until you get married and have the certificate at hand. as long as the packet 3 is submitted within a year from receipt then there is no problem.
"your case was completed on october 25th, 2005. please allow 8 weeks from this date for further instruction. if it has been 8 weeks and you have not received anything..."
it'll be the 12th week tomorrow.
wifey called up the agency this morning.
was advised to wait for feb7 for the release of the march roster.
seems like no ex was scheduled for feb in the embassy in manila,
as confirmed by our lawyers.
just sharing with you some lingering frustrations.

how come? i know someone here in cebu(philippines), his case was completed on novemvber 7, 2005 and he is already scheduled on the end of february. how did that happen? shouldnt you be going first? does anyone know the reason for these delays? some said it is because of the holidays! true? mine was completed december 19, 2005. shall i expect my interview on may?!
Not yet scheduled for interview from US embassy Manila. I guess we will wait for the March schedule. It's almost two years of waiting. I'm from Cebu, Philippines too.
