I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

I guess if by jan vb next month your pd become current... you'll be receiving your emailed interview sched next month and you'll be interviewed by jan 2012.. but if it just moved by a couple of days on the next vb.. let's say jan 20ish on next month then you'll get interviewed by feb and receive your interview sched on jan.. just my guess :)... and yup nurseako we're on the same boat... glad to know we're next in line

Hey Heinrick, thanks for the reply. So what have you been doing while waiting? Have you updated your papers already like visa screen? I feel somewhat ambivalent about the whole thing because my agency left me in the middle, they do not even get in touch with me. I am taking the initiative to renew visa screen tho, still reapplying for ielts. I don't know, but I am beginning to feel wary. What can you advise?
hi angeldust.. I think that you should really take care of renewing your papers as early as now.. especially the visa screen certificate and nclex license.. I did that already, I just renewed my visa screen this year and took up ietls and pay the fees by myself .. to avoid cramming.. I still have contacts with my agency as of the moment, they notified me that I should renew my expired requirements and send them a copy to update them.. so I think you should be concern too of letting them know that you're updating your visa screen and nclex.. because your pd date is fast approaching.. who knows you will be current on jan vb 2012.. we'll find out on dec 10 next month :) .. are you currently working as a nurse now?

Yes I am working as a "volunteer" nurse at the moment just so I can have current practice. I am thinking of taking ielts anytime between dec 3 or 10. Thanks again for the advise, might as well inform my agency about my plans. The way they handle my case really sucks. I am thinking actually of moving to another agency, two have signified my case is still doable. what do u think?
hi angeldust sorry to hear that re: agency. yea, i hink you should make your own moves now but you should inform your agency for this since you are still under them and they will still be the one who will give you the job offer in the end. take you IELTS ASAP and renew everything. As for me I renewed them (ielts, VS) last oct. Anyway lets just think positive and pray hard.
Heinrick yea, hopefully we can have our turn soon or by 1st quearter of 2012. I am also excited about this. My agency still reply with my queries but there are rumors that the 1st batch that were for interview last Nov dont have the Job offer from my agency yet.
Hello Nurseako, may I ask how much did you spend for the renewal of visa screen so that I will have an idea how much to prepare, and thank you very much for the advise. It is an eye opener for me.
angel, i really cant remember cause i paid it brfore it expire last yr dec. but i took the ielts only on oct. maybe ariund $300??? but its in there website cgfns.org. renew now coz they will still ask alot of doc including the prc and nclex doc that takes time, right heinrick? they will still ask another validation from you. i dont want you to loose this chance for your visa.
