World Canada CA Programs

Hello "allnurses" subscribers!

Starting a thread for any Nursing students heading to class for the Fall 2013 season!

Hopefully this can be a place where we can introduce ourselves as well as the school & program we'll be attending this year.

Today I received a welcome package for the St. Lawrence College / Laurentian University collaborative BScN starting September 2013!

(Previously I attended the Practical Nursing program at Algonquin College graduating in 2011 so I am very excited to continue my nursing education!)

Best wishes for those waiting to hear & congratulations to all the prospective nurses out there. I'd love to hear your offers and plans for 2013!!! :yeah:

I know what you mean I am still waiting for the BScN but got RPN offer, either ways going back to school after 6 years and now 2 young kids! aah

I contacted my school today and found out that there are only 20 -25 people in the 3.75 gpa wait list. So I may have a chance for the BScN course after all! I will be told anywhere from May 6 - Sept 15. Here's to the long wait.....

Accepted to Western and UT so far! Still waiting on a few other schools but nonetheless very excited to start Nursing this fall :)!

Hey,

I too am attending the BScN Laurentian/St. Lawrence collaborative program, at the Cornwall Campus !

I'm a little late to the party! I graduated the Algonquin RPN program in 2010, I've finally completed the bridging program and I'm now enrolled in 3rd year at UofO/Algonquin collaborative program for the BSCN. I'm excited to get my hands on some actual nursing courses since the bridging process was a lot of 1st and 2nd year courses! It's great to meet other Algonquin RPN grads!

I got accepted into the RPN Flex program at Centennial College for September 2013!!

I'm really excited!

Just graduated from Conestogas PN program and have received acceptances to McMaster and Centennial/Ryersons RPN to BScN bridging program! Excited!

Hey Lisa!

I hope you read this! Im starting the PN program this fall at Algonquin and I want to take the bridging program after as well!! How long did you need to be working as a PN before taking the bridging program?? Also!! - Did you work part-time as a PN while in the bridging program AND in 3rd and 4th year?! If so, how was that? I hoooope you get this!! ahh would be great to get some feedback. I am so excited to start this! :D
