I did all of my per-health courses (all but electives) through night school. Two a semester until I was done (3 terms). It meant that I had night classes 4 nights a week (all while working two jobs) but I found that I was done and ready to go by time the cut off's had occurred for the September 2013 intake. I am currently enrolled for the RPN fall start and on the wait list for the BScN course. I will hear sometime after May 5 up to the second week of classes if i get in. The program director said there were only 20 to 25 people in the 3.75 and above gpa that didn't get in. She didn't tell me where in that line i am but i know my GPA was higher then 3.75. Night school is tough.. they cram 4 months into a two month night class - but it can be done with a great GPA if you work hard. Good luck to you!!

I am just about to endeavor on my great adventure as a nursing student this coming fall. I'm both excited and scared all at the same time. Being an older entrance student will do that to you! I am wondering as RPN/LPN can one specialize to work in certain departments or are you just a 'free agent' when you have this role? I don't know which department this journey will take me. My overall goal is to work within a hospital. I am also on the wait list for the local BScN course. I should hear by end May to mid June if I have got in or not. But for right now I am registered to start in the RPN program. Any insight for me?

I contacted my school today and found out that there are only 20 -25 people in the 3.75 gpa wait list. So I may have a chance for the BScN course after all! I will be told anywhere from May 6 - Sept 15. Here's to the long wait.....

Don't forget guys you can check the OCAS website to see any pending offers!! I found out I had a pending offer a full week before the letter reached my doorstep I've an RPN offer and I'm riding the wait list for BScN. Either way I'm going to nursing school in the fall!!

St Clair college has their letters out for RPN and BScN. I've an offer for RPN and wait listed for BScN
