I don't think it's a big deal if a pt asks for a woman nurse. Of course it is a matter of comfort and personal choice. I do see an issue with the statement "Men don't really nurture." That sounds too harsh and judgemental.

Fall 2013 baby!!!!! Here I come

I got innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!! I called and they did a mistake on their part and I was within range. I also got accepted for a scholarship. Alhamdulilah!

So the wait is finally....over. I was denied acceptance in Ottawa U collab program, based on the reason that my average is lower than 77% for their accepting average. Now there is a twist in the story. Before applying to the program I had reviewed my average as a CEGEP applicant with one of the admission advisors in U of O. We both agreed that I was 78%. I am unsure now about the criteria used during the admission process of my application, if they are saying I was denied because I was lower than 77%???? What do you think? Should I put up a follow up and seek clarification about how this was concluded? Anyway...I would greatly appreciate any input.

Still waiting for Ottawa U......since it's my 1st choice. I am losing my mind. Period.

I didn't apply to Mohawk, but I am waiting on a BScN from Ottawa U. Usually universities send em out in April....I am just like you waiting and anticipating like crazy!

I know what you mean I am still waiting for the BScN but got RPN offer, either ways going back to school after 6 years and now 2 young kids! aah
