Thank You LARRY! I appreciate it!! Scott
Welcome to the world of Male nursing...I also worked my way up through the ranks...starting as a nursing home CNA, then Psychiatric Tech, then nursing home LPN, and now Surgical Unit RN. I have not had any issues with how I've been treated as a "Male" nurse, and working in the same hospital as an RN that I worked as a CNA has helped tremendously. My co-workers give me added respect because of my past experience as a CNA and I am not uncomfortable when I get primary care and have to complete all ADL's along with med administration etc.Welcome Scott,Larry

Thank you so much for the wonderfully, vibrant birthday train. That is sweet of you. It's been really cold and gloomy here all day and it lifts my spririt. One day without sunshine and temps below 80 in Texas and we all go into shock!!!!! wow, you are also into martial arts. I will attend a KWANDO class tomorrow morning at BAlly's which is both fun and a great cardio workout. Thanks again and I'll talk to you soon :wink2:

We took some pics of us and the car today but can't figure out how to post them here on this site.
My husband will treat me to Red Lobster tonight. We are taking the car :wink2:

To get back on topic... no matter if male, or female, nursing students will have a better chance to succeed in nursing school with family support. Looks like stpauligirl has some great support.
