What do you mean by reasonable morning hours?

6AM-12pm is the only time frame I'm available. I work as well.

All I can say then is good luck. My clinicals (actually every nursing school in my general area) had clinicals all day. Some ended at 3pm and others were for a full 12 hours. Classes tended to be in the am and pm. You are going to be hard pressed to find a school that will accommodate your schedule. I wish you luck though

Nursing school doesn't work like that. IF you continue working while in school, your work schedule will have to work around your school schedule. Becoming a nurse is a several year commitment, usually at least 4-5 years if you don't already have the right prerequisite college courses under your belt. You might be best served by making an appointment with a counselor at a couple of local colleges or universities that offer nursing to see if this is something you're prepared to take on. Please stay away from for profit schools, and check their NCLEX pass rates on your state Board of Nursing site. Good luck to you.

Please notice I said to check their NCLEX pass rates. Sadly, the motivation of many for profit schools is PROFIT, rather than turning out quality nurses. But even those that do have reasonable NCLEX rates, the massive debt a new nurse incurs is often crippling. As to that, the new nurse is graduating with an ADN or, at best BSN. The debt may make it impossible for continued education, which is becoming necessary in many states, or simply to move up the career ladder. At a community college, your ADN may cost a few hundred to a high of $7k, including books, uniforms, etc. At a for profit, just tuition can cost $2000. every couple of months. That's a horrible way to start a new career. Just my opinion, of course.
