This may be a silly question, but for those of you who had your stethoscope engraved, what exactly did you have put on it? First and last name? First initial, last name? First name, last initial? Something else?

I would probably have had my first and last name, though I've had mine since before I was married, so it would have my maiden name, had I had it done back then. I've had my stethoscope for about 10 years (new grad RN now).

Don't you need to re-ship it back to the manufacturer to get it engraved? Or are there easier ways?

I ordered mine from like medsave.net or something... it came with free engraving.
