Nursing student moving to Jax

Published

Looking for info on where to take CNA classes.

SJRCC offers a CNA training program.

Depending on which part of Jax you're moving to - FCCJ also has MA/CNA classes, and may be closer than SJRCC. (Jax is in Duval County - SJRCC is St. John's county.)

I am currently a nursing student at FCCJ......if you need any info, feel free to PM me - there is another school in St. Augustine. UNF and JU Universities have programs as well. :)

we are actually moving to Middleburg. We are not familiar with anything about the area. We don't even know what the places that have been posted are. Thanks for your help!!! :) If anyone has a phone # we can call or any further info please send it our way.

If you're in Middleburg, then St. Augustine would most likely not be a viable option due to the long drive, but you can google it if your interested. Hope this helps you out.....:)

Info in the CNA program at FCCJ. Probably a good option to consider.

thank you so much guys! we are officially going to be moved to Middleburg by the end of the week. We are in Arkansas now packing. My husband hopes to be able to come back and get his cna license and get a job pretty quick. He then hopes to get into the lpn program. Any idea how much cna classes will cost? You guys are a huge help!!!! THANK YOU!!!

Also currently a student at FCCJ - the cut off varies but (I'm in 3rd term) has generally been around 180 for the last year. Hope that helps, and that you're there!

If so, you should be getting a letter by now. Good luck.

For RNKitty - SJRCC has campuses in both St Johns AND Clay county, I forgot about that - if the original poster is going to be in middleburg, the orange park campus would be great for her and her hubby.

I am currently taking the class through Red Cross.
