I need to interview a NP - Help Please

Nursing Students Student Assist

Published

I am a FNP student, and I just found out I have to interview a NP who works in Primary Care, and who has or currently works in a leadership role.

This interview shouldn't take up too much of your time....maybe 10-15 minutes, or I could even send you a list of questions, and you can type out your answers and send them back to me.

I don't know of any NP's who work in Primary Care who are or have been in a leadership role. I am trying to reach out to all of you. If you can help out, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks so much in advance,

John

Part of the reason these assignments are given is to get you networking with local providers in the role you are training in. Your signature states that you work as a case manager in an ED, you must have some contact with local primary care offices? Are you a student member of your state NP association, that is a good place to look for a local NP.

I know this may seem annoying but many of us have had the same assignment and joining the local NP organization is the best way to get a willing NP. Some of the members leading the NP meetings are always willing to help students. Also it's a great way to network especially if you will need preceptors.

Just my 2 cents
