Nursing Staff Pictures. .. . .

Hello Everyone!

I was just wondering what kind of fun ideas your unit uses or used for staff pictures on the unit. We had a bulletin board with all of our pictures in stars that said "The stars of (unit name)". It is time to take that one down and put up a new one. :yeah: I was assigned this project and I encourage you to leave me any interesting and fun ideas that will impress the rest!

Now depend where you work... and how much creative is allowed to be, loool... what did you say about to ask each of them to name their star using terms from work place... what did you say about ....Foleymooon, loooool :D:lol2:

When our unit used to be a great place to work (5 years ago) we had all sorts of bulletin boards. We had a monthly theme...Mother's day was pix of us and our own babies, HS graduation, nursing school graduation, our baby picture, June Brides, Halloween costumes. It was fun for us and our patients, who would try to figure out who was who...

Our sister unit got these funky earrings and took pics with them. The best pic is the one of the male nurse they have that is wearing this big clip on. :D the best part was that it was hot pink and he was doing this manly pose. LOL He was at the center of the board of course. :D

I don't participate but they have done this where I work and used various shapes for the appropriate holiday or season (flags, christmas trees, eggs, etc) and generic shapes for non-holidays. One of the most entertaining I saw was pics of staff and then pics of pets where the object was to guess which pet belonged to which staff member (based on the idea that we look like our pets). They collected guesses and the person with the most correct won a pair of movie tickets.
