Shoe suggestion for someone with mild Haglund's Deformity?
I recently discovered I somehow developed a mild case of Haglund's Deformity (probably during nursing school as my shoes didn't fit incredibly well - great job me!) and was considering getting a pair of Danskos but now I am unsure if they will be a good fit with someone like me.
Yes, I know I need to see a podiatrist but I wanted to see if there were any suggestions from similar Nurses with this issue or who can give a good recommendation.
Thanks in advance and have a great day!

Danskos would be perfect since they don't run on the back of the heel.

Find someplace you can try them on and walk in them. They should work because most danskos are designed to fit like clogs with a back. Meaning that the heel counter does not fit snug against the back of your heel, but they do not fit every foot shape so you should try them out in person.
Thank you both of you! There is a place in a mall nearby. Next payday I am so there. I cannot wait. =)

FYI: all danskos fit differently, so make sure you try multiple of the same shoe if possible. At the dansko store you are encouraged to swap between pairs of the same size and color to find the shoes that are the right fit for both your feet. If you try on 3 pairs of the exact same color, style and size, you might find the right shoe in box A fits well, but the left doesn't. Then you find out both shoes in box B don't fit well, so you try on box C and in box C the left shoe fits great- so you can take the left shoe from box C and the right shoe from box A to make your perfect pair.
