Nursing Schools in Houston??

I'm new to the Houston area. Does anyone know the top schools to apply to for a BSN in nursing? Obviously there is UT, but I'm not sure of the other ones or how they rank. Any help is appreciated!! Thanks!! :wink2:

i would think as far as "top" schools, ut houston and texas woman's university would be considered the top bsn programs in houston. those two are extremely competitive to get in, but then again they all are. prairie view a&m, houston baptist university, and utmb in galveston all have bsn programs. there aren't many bsn programs, so it's important to know that you have to literally be on your "a" game to get into these programs. getting into any nursing school is a challenge. i cannot stress this enough: find out what each individual program requires!!! each program has different requirements and different selection criteria. make sure your gpa is at least a 3.0, and for some schools (ut and twu) it really needs to be a 3.5 or above. good luck!
