  1. That wasn't a real website, so did you maybe put down the wrong one?
  2. Does anyone know the phone number to check availablility for the NET test? I live in Houston if that makes a difference. Appreciate the help....Thanks!!

Also what are the differences between the HESI and the NET tests?

I need to take the NET test to apply to UT. Any idea on how to get a study guide or what I should study for?
  5. To be honest, I looked into getting my CNA license again. While it looks good if you have the experience, I found it to cost more than its worth. During the 6 wks (which is about how long the classes are), you could have taken more pre-requisites for nursing and got them out of the way. Plus, with your nursing degree you automatically get your CNA certification (if I have been told correctly). What I did was I went to one of the hospitals associated with the school I want to get into and applied to do volunteer work. I am volunteering 1 day a week and the lady in charge of the volunteers said it looks better to get an internal job (say for a clerical/administrative position). Hope this helps. Good Luck!!!
  6. I'm new to the Houston area. Does anyone know the top schools to apply to for a BSN in nursing? Obviously there is UT, but I'm not sure of the other ones or how they rank. Any help is appreciated!! Thanks!! :wink2:
