Nursing School - What are you thankful for?

Published

Hello everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Let's face it - nursing school is one heck of an experience, but it is an experience I am so extremely thankful for. What in nursing school are you thankful for?

I personally am thankful for my support people, my amazing instructors, my wonderful classmates, for each an every learning opportunity I have, the good grades I earn, and for the opportunity to be a nursing student and eventually a nurse!

I'd love to hear what you are thankful for, and/or some cheerful stories you may have (while keeping HIPAA in mind, of course)!

Happy Holidays!!

I am thankful for some of the amazing friends I have met, the wonderful instructors who have become my mentors, and am so thankful for the support of my family through this crazy time.

I'm thankful nursing school is just about over.

Yay! Congratulations to you two, and best of luck!!!

That reminds me, I forgot to add that I am thankful that nursing school will end one day ;)

Pinning is Dec 17th for me but my last final is next Thurs! woohoo!! Thankful for my awesome clinical instructor who helped my cohort get the most out our clinical experiences.

That's awesome!!

(by the way, my name is Becca and I get called "Becca Boo" so I'm lovin' your username!!)

I'm thankful that all my friends and family are pushing me to keep on keepin' on even though I'm about to lose my mind.. I'm thankful for the new friends that will (hopefully) be by my side during the rest of my nursing school journey.. and I'm thankful that I was accepted to the program of my choice because there are so many that would love to be in my shoes!

Specializes in ICU.

I am thankful for my great instructors and my clinical group. I have made some amazing friends that I will have for life. I've met some not so amazing people but am thankful for the great ones. I am also thankful for my clinical experience. I have learned a lot at my facility about people. I was nervous going into it, but have really enjoyed it. I can't believe only 3 weeks left of the semester.

I'm thankful for entering the program that I'm currently in, despite the horror stories and the advice of some of my former and current coworkers! I've had a great experience in my program, and will be graduating in may! Morale of the story: Always make your own judgments, never make them based on what someone else told you!

I'm thankful I have to make an 8 on my final to graduate and that pinning is in 7 days?
