If you transfer to a different school, I am sure a lot of your credits will not transfer. I think it is a conspiracy among universities in order to get more money out of the students. Anyways, have you explored all of you options for the course you are currently failing? Have you spoken to the professor to gage on areas of improvement? Are your study habits appropriate? Do you simply need additional help with materials? If so, are there any students in your class that are willing to help you?
The reason I ask is because if you lose credits, you will have to take those courses again anyways at the new school. It may cost you more money in the long run. Even if you had to repeat the course you are currently not passing, I am sure the costs are less. The other advantage is that if you had the class before, you will have already been exposed to the material, meaning you will certainly increase your chances at receiving an good grade the second time around.
I hope this helps…good luck to you.
