You need to stop reading and listening to what other people say. That just makes for unnecessary anxiety. If you have good time management skills, and are proactive in learning all the material, then you will be FINE.

Difficulty is perceived differently by different people. I've had some people swear that their program was indistinguishable from aeronautical engineering, and I have GREAT difficulty (no pun intended) in believing that. Some people don't do well in school and find all academics hard. Some don't do well in sciences and find all sciences hard.
AND SOME DON'T!
Don't focus on what other people think about how hard or easy something is. You are the one taking your exams and doing your assignments, not them, so who cares how hard or easy they think anything is at all?
Some people in my program failed, they couldn't get past the academics. Others failed because they couldn't pass the clinical skill tests. And for all that, there were many who had NO problem with the academics and NO problem with the skills tests.
The people who failed will tell you it's hard. The people who are great students will naturally tell you it's easy. You will find it however you find it. Prioritize your work and social calendars, set aside appropriate times to study, don't leave ANYTHING for the last minute, and you will set yourself up for success.
Good luck :)

The difficulty of nursing school will depend on the person. There are many factors that make nursing school easier or more difficult. Some people comprehend the concepts rather quickly and have good study habits that work for them. Others struggle from beginning to end. Most people are in-between.
Also take in consideration that most posts about the difficulty of nursing school are from people who struggled the entire time. It is very rare to have someone post about how easy school was. It is the same with NCLEX. Many people pass at 75 questions (1/2 of my cohort did). But a vast majority of posts on here are from people that have taken it 3-13 times and haven't passed. You would interpret that NCLEX is impossible to pass by the number of posts when reality is that 85% of graduates pass on the first attempt.

A majority of people that fail out of nursing school do so because they simply don't put in the required effort. Lots of people will do fine on their pre-reqs while putting in minimal effort, but that won't work in nursing school. If you're willing to put in the effort, you'll most likely be fine.
